Comment: Reading what has been said about this cafe i think i have to come to its defence.I have been using this cafe sinse it opened, as i drive a truck.Yup i agree it was left to run down with old shoddy pc,s.But there is a revelution going on here..new pc's.and windows xp with the ability to up/down load pics and music. So, lets give them a chance ok.

Comment: I used to use Easy Internet on a regular basis before I got my computer about 6 years ago and I was really happy with the internet cafe when they opened 24 hours and the keys boards were fine and their beverages were quite reasonable. Now I'm glad I have my own computer. It's a shame that they let their computers go to waste without much maintainence. So in my opinion great location and I guess good value for money if you can get computer to work without crashing.

Comment: A disgrace, so much for the upgrade can't load up any significant websites. I'm not blaming staff, I'm blaming the tossers in London for this . Shimmering monitiors, broken mouses, crashes more than the dodgems, slow as hell- like back in the mid 90's. just please get your act together. I can't load ***dar

Comment: Worst interet Cafe i have been two throughout entire Europe. No customer service, horrible computers and expensive to boot! Was ripped off by the machine, you are to pay 3.50 for an etire day except only recieved 1.5 hours - but i was lucky, the girl before me put money in the machine and recieved nothing! Once again worst internet cafe around.

Comment: this is a por show but I have to use it as there are so few internet cafes around. Crashing PCs, grotty keyboard and dodgey monitors, etc. It's hard to find a PC that is completely working 100%! Just think... If this is how they run their internet cafe business, how the hell do they run their airline!!! (the people in the coffee shop are nice though, I wish they ran the place!)

Comment: I've just switched to my fourth PC. I'm fed up with constant 'Error on Page' messages meaning I can't do anything other than read text on the most basic websites. A complete waste of £2 - which, thanks to the self service system, I can't get a refund for the unused half hour portion. (well, what's the point in sitting on, whiling down the remaining one quid - other than to give a review of these utterly ineffectual machines. I'm off. And yes, the staff downstairs are always very nice.

Comment: Feel I was slighly harsh. I don't want the staff to get nailed as they, when there are staff here, are helpful and nice. My advice to users would be take some damp but not wet medicated wipes for the keyboards. Be aware some terminals have webcams and phone handsets, others do not. If you want to youtube, install Firefox and the flash plugin. That will give you stable useage. Be aware the machines don't have much memory so try not to have more than a few windows open at a time and, if emailing, it is a good idea to periodically save a draft. If your monitor starts shimmering wildly with horrizontal lines, try switching it on and off a few times. Failing which, log off and move to another computer. The Hewlett Packard keyboards are nicer to type on than the soggy Logitech ones. Good to see frank reviews are allowed. The bottom line is, I keep coming back!

Comment: This place should be packed but - If you can find a keyboard that isn't caked in disgusting black goo between the keys and sometimes on the keys, if you can find a monitor that doesn't have a shimmering grid of lines making the screen near unreadable, or a defective mouse or... Why aren't these things checked periodically, cleaned and changed out? The computers do crash but you can install Firefox and as long as you don't have more than four windows open at a time, you'll get a good few hours of stable use; it's Windows 98 so not all sites/messenger programs can be used. Yahoo messenger works and webmessenger.msn.com works, also. If you can find a shop nearby that has a public rest room... (Costa have one downstairs but it's only for drinks and food buying customers)... A lot of ifs, here! As long as you don't eat at the same time as using the computers and wash your hands after using them... You know what, though? It's the centre of town and though £2 an hour is enough to make you run out and buy a laptop, I use the place and will continue to do so. Some off peak deals and clean keyboards would bring the university crowd back.

Comment: Mark? Is Edinburgh: Rose Street somewhere near London?

Comment: I know this won't be published. This cafe in busy London Has to be the pitts. You have NO printing facilities, the store is cold, and if you purchase a 5 day ticket, you are kicked out at 11.30pm even though you have a fully paid up ticket. So why are we not entitles a refund. Also, the pc's crash on a regular basis, and are of very poor quality. As i said, this will never be put on the comments page!
